Goodbye To Love
She was in deep ennui as her lover had left,
a cacophony of discord left her completely bereft-
Bona fide and authentic game he was playing,
caught up in the baroque words he was saying.
An anomaly relationship without love to hold,
he was a dilettante at best, leaving her in the cold-
Déjà vu drifted in her mind as she felt unblessed,
poor elan in her pitiful life, she has confessed.
An avant-garde idea she had to ease her troubled mind,
maybe love’s carte blanche was the answer she longed to find.
