"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart." - Helen Keller Like a slow drawl, sometimes Winter – others, Autumn. Rustling in the oaks, the pines Driving out the dreams, sweet dreams… Blowing through the leaves, Slow peace, gentle and free – peace Pouring over the faith, with grace Powerful as the softest layer of mercy, Kindness that gives way to laughing beauty. Like a yearning, a prayer Softly spoken, on the morning air, Rich with caramel layers of light, Gentle as the stillness that questions The twilight, fading like a quiet moon, Silent like the glistening stars, Welcoming the moments who breathe, Like a desire – a endless fire, Arriving to inspire the light, reflecting, Echoing feelings who can crush out the dark, Abash all the lost thoughts, the lost lights. Like a moment, trembling With music, a melody adrift in the seas, Enticing the fish with their fins, Persuading the wrens, the robins – so free, Seducing the colors from the wind, Gusty thrills, overburdened with doubt, Fears thrown to the wind, turbulent as the sea, Whose storms thrive in the memory, Prospering long enough to foresee All the melancholy, the nights who see… Even in the storms, ever in the storms, There is a tingling grace, a burning faith, The sting of hope – the birth of One Who is ever alive, ever survives the cold world, Awakening the promise of eternity. Like light, like faith, like life… His love abides, Forever alive, forever inspired, forever a guide… To bring the heart and soul through, Leading the way through the sorrows, the pain, All the feelings that shame and blame, All the feelings that will never regain their way… Yet, because a heart knows to pray… They can honestly say… together with grace, With faith in the One who came – There is a second chance to reach beyond the darkness, Into the light of love and kindness, The light of love that abides with us, When we simply allow His love to guide us. Like a life, renewed, a life – Mended and restored by the love, Love from the Son of God, The One who makes a way through the storm, The One who makes a way built by love, The One who makes a way for us to know, to hope, Love will always be the answer to our dark Love will forever be the way out of the past, Love will eternally bring us through the doubt. Love will ever be the answer to all our prayers! Like God, this love is ever alive inside our soul.
