Getting on my own nerves - two line quotes
Woke up and read David Kavanagh's entry to this contest. Then couldn't stop thinking of two line quotes and keep thinking of another every few minutes... I should actually have 1 more hour of sleep
So far I have -
The kaleidoscopic nature of truth
Substitutes refrains whilst maintaining eye contact
(Used this one for contest)
If you stitch 1000 paper cuts
The loss of life is in the unpicking
Roll up roll up, every one wins a prize...
The story of my lives
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery
When authencity can be deemed contagious
Echoes are lost
In the deepest wells
The striptease of the transpiring truth
The pull of focus, to forget all other thoughts
The concoction of friendship is spellbinding
We all levitate unless we say the wrong words
The truth that emerges in a eulogy
Is that you should get a life
(My daughter's are now awake and singing a song they made up about a chicken wing - clearly my children - this one then popped into my head)
A chicken wing, essential to be a fully fledged chicken
But not chickeny enough for a connoisseur
(I fear I might be like this all day)
