Free Verse

I don't know that Verse is ever entirely Free – sensing at times that we are captive of our words restricting the flow of original thought an inherent bias of societal structure.... The young composer thinking himself, the Noble Martyr... The middle-age, a center of Mastery: accepted and cajoled by swarms of communal echoes... While the old poet spends his limited time left at the shore – making chronicle of our shared trespasses – looking off to the sea; drawing inspiration from repetitive sewage, that comes and goes with the tides....

Hello Joe - It is evident that you are skilled with word placement and usage. I found the voice and tone of your entry in true poetic fashion. Yes, I believe we could all be captive of our words. Thank you for sharing. Enjoy poetry soup.
