Notes About The Poem

Boris and Natasha's minds were awhirl
As the Russia probe facts did unfurl.
Let's end the confusion
There was no collusion
Was fake news of moose and of squirrel.

Fractured Fake News

Boris and Natasha's minds were awhirl
As the Russia probe facts did unfurl.
Let's end the confusion
There was no collusion
Was fake news of moose and of squirrel.

Ha, ha! Great stuff, Mark! Good ole Boris and Natasha: "Kill crazy moose and squirrel." Used to love watching them back in the day... Just wondering: You don't live anywhere near Woodstock, IL, do you? (I'm from the north side of Chicago, but I actually know where Woodstock is … way out there 'in the boonies.') ~ gw

Gershon, first let me say I appreciate your taking time this evening to read my poems and make some very interesting, entertaining and encouraging comments. I’m originally from the Milwaukee area but have been a transplanted Yankee in the Deep South for over 38 years.

Rofl... I thought the young boy's name was Sherman on Fractured Fairy Tales, but you're saying it was Putin? Ahhh...yes... I can see the resemblance :)

:) I have always like that Squirrel. Such a fun write. Your thoughts made me smile. As far as the news, there will always be wrong mixed with the right. ~ Brandy

Brandy, thanks for your nice comment. But you also like the moose too, right? If you like the squirrel you have to like the moose. They are a matched set :)

When the Fakes make fake news, and fake the news made is fake, democracy has married 'benevolent despotism" - which was a footnote in histiry - until unprofessionals run the most professionalzed state & military, ever. Thanks Tony---Jesus remains on the Throne (remember Nebudchednezzar!)
