Spot on, Bill. Forgiveness is a tonic - it cures what ails inside mind, heart and soul. I hope that you are well. Best wishes, Brian

forgiveness is much needed, we mustn' wait to be forgiven, we may never get another chance. A beautiful share, Bill. Hope you are doing well.

That's me! Always in a rush, the only exception is my mind is still, that's all because of PS and poets like you!

I'm do fine, Anaya, still struggling with my need to slow down and enjoy peace of mind more. I'm just in too big of a hurry and try to do too many things in every 24 hours I'm given. I'm too driven it seems. I know joy well, but don't allow myself the time to experience it as often as I should. Forgiveness is easy for me because I've been forgiven and I know I'm no better than anyone else here on Earth. Smiles ~ Blessings Bill

Forgiveness is powerful indeed! It is, as your poem asserts, a blessing which works both ways. Excellent writing, my friend

True! True! It is, i believe, the thing most prominent as a gift that has held the love in my 40-yr marriage together. Forgiveness — the great gift of God — model for us…from inclusion prominantly in Lord’s prayer, to, hopefully our every day! Thank you for this succinct poem re a voluminous act. Blessings!

Such troth..Such travail ? Such direction Entails. A glistening of intention observable As is the trace if a snail, like a touchtrail to Some, ire dire; sum-.dumb.? Torch fizzling In action, resort to a crushing attraction.? Throwing stones to no avail, there are billions Of snails.'

Thanks for the comments in rhyme, Joe. I really like the phrase. "A glistening of intention observable As is the trace if a snail". Have a great weekend my friend, Bill

Definitely forgiving someone of something releases a damn of emotions built up inside. Sometimes it is a very hard thing to do even though the person doing the forgiving is blessed in doing the forgiving. Thanks for sharing this one and for dropping by my page. I hope to finish the poem started that you read in the next few days. Thanks for dropping by. Sara

Certainly ! Forgiveness helps both the parties. When we forgive someone, the ice of bitterness melts. If some one forgives us, we feel relieved ! Great monoku

So very true... Soft and inspiring to oneself to ask for forgiveness; sometimes the other won't accept, but you are forgiven.

We have no control over how our forgiveness will be received, but complete control over our willingness to give forgiveness. Thanks for the comment, Eve. Smiles ~ Blessings Bill

Oh! So important to say the words! I.e., not to just 'think them' or to beat around the bush! Excellent point, my friend. ~ Gershon

Sometimes it's all that's needed to repair a friendship or deter an enemy. Thanks for reading and commenting on my poetry, Gershon. I'm about back to active now. Bill

I've found that without forgiveness, toxicity remains in me. The act of forgiveness is as much about helping me as it is about releasing the other person from guilt. Such a golden nugget of wisdom, dear Bill.

Sometimes It's hardest to forgive ourselves of the bad cjoices we all make from time to time. I also have trouble accepting the forgiveness of my sins from God because I want to fill bad for not following His will in my life. Thanks for the comments, my soulmate. Bill
