13th September 2023

Firefly

Fluttering in the night, 
Flickering lightning bugs, 
Flames tiny that delight, 
Flies with little lanterns
Fill the viewers with awe, 
Flirting to attract mates ~
Flashes of God-graced glow.

I remember catching one as a child and for a short time putting it in a glass jar with a top to watch it glow off & on. They are so unique and special aren't they? I love the alliteration in your poem. I just love your poem, it is pretty all over the place! Congratulations on winning.
