Today I honor you, with all my love
May you feel the warmth in the words I say
May my words decend on you like a dove
Together as children we used to play
You helped me escape a lot of my pain

We both have known tears that fell like rain
Sadness could not hold, a spirit like yours

You deserve success, you have opened doors
Attitude and strength is what comes to mind
