Fifty and Amazing

Today I honor you, with all my love May you feel the warmth in the words I say May my words decend on you like a dove Together as children we used to play You helped me escape a lot of my pain May you feel the warmth in the words I say We both have known tears that fell like rain Sadness could not hold, a spirit like yours You helped me escape a lot of my pain You deserve success, you have opened doors Attitude and strength is what comes to mind Sadness could not hold, a spirit like yours Sister and friend, you're one of a kind No other heart compares to your own Attitude and strength is what comes to mind In person or when we talk on the phone No other heart compares to your own Today I honor you with all of my love May my words descend on you like a dove Dedicated to my beautiful sister, Fifty and amazing. I hope you know How much you are appreciated and loved. Sister, friend, mother, daughter, confidant, undefinable you. You are one of my greatest blessings. Happy 50th.

Lovely, heartfelt and sincere....your poem touched me. :) Brothers are a blessing. I should know. I have two. I have a poem hanging on my bedroom wall that my brother wrote for my 40th. I'm sure your sister will feel treasured with the lovely words you have penned! :)
