He tells me he loves me I’m his fantasy woman, the girl of his dreams Now I’m so huge I can no longer function normally Oh my man is so so wonderful, cares for me 24/7 Chocolate, cakes, candy always at hand Meals so huge they would feed a family for a week Says he adores the way I look … just a few more pounds The bigger I get the more desirable he finds me Tells me I’m so sexy – no one ever said that to me before I know my health is at risk Doctors tell me if I gain any more weight I could die But he says he loves me … Food Can't Live with it can't live without it Contest – Sponsor Debbie Guzzi 07~17~15 Poem based on a documentary called ‘Fat Girls and Feeders’

I agree Eve sadly the poor vulnerable women feed the men's desires and risk their own health in the process:-( hugs Jan xx

Jan, I love this poems in three reasons: 1) in it's some intriguing way you present: a love??? portrayed by a man; 2) a woman who seems to be blind because of love but gaining starting to realize that she is at risk.. open-ended: good way to end :D; 3) the imagery that somehow it excite me to go on further... COngratulations!!! hugs!!! ~Olive ELoisa ..=')

Thanks Olive - I think the title says a lot too - it is such a sad sad situation - it is fuelling his 'desire' to feed her and her need for love which she never had before because of her size but she finally realises his 'love' is putting her life in jeopardy but she simply can't escape:-( hugs Jan xx

I remember watching the documentary some years ago James and it has stuck in my mind - guess my take on the theme is a little out of the box - I'm not sure what Debbie will make of it but I have to go with the flow of my pen:-) hugs Jan xx

How did the women feel in this situation? Human behaviour is endlessly fascinating. This is a sad commentary on how people manipulate others. Well written Jan.

" Nothing in Excess" was Apollo's second maxim. Each one should not surpass the limits their organism set and if someone loves us truly then for us s/he will think first. You have presented it very vividly and convincing, dear Jan, a seven is due. Good luck!

Loved reading this very well written poem...7. This is so common over here, only the roles are reversed. (I have heard the saying that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach.)

I've heard the saying too Nandita -but I think scenario goes deeper than that it is a fetish with these men - I find it so so sad:-( hugs jan xx

I hear tell it's not how big and round but how Love goes around live or die. Such a contest life. A big 7 for a well put plight. A 'true' heavy weight in it? Lots of luck in the contest.

Jan, I know someone like this (the male part). I guess it is just how they think. They find the woman so attractive this way. I don't get it, but wow, you sure wrote very well about it. I enjoyed this one and the picture you put with it.

Thanks Andrea - I find it quite sick and sad that someone can do this for their own gratification - not sure what Debbie will think of my take on the food theme - but it is acutally about the fear of the food and the fact it could kill but being so controlled by this man and his 'love' the cycle goes on. :-) Hugs jan xx
