Falling Into the Sky

Cast me upon the dreaming sea, beneath the roots of heavens tree, within the flow of timeless tide, the mind soul and spirits glide, come come! and yet there's that other truth, be still within..! within your sphere; that also true to enlightenment's face, await's its free and giving grace. copyright Joe Maverick 2011 written in celestial verse.

Hi, Joe, thanks for your comment to my poem about Watching Innocence. Yes, too much evil in the world. Where will it all end? I hope not to have to see it.

This is beautiful, Joe! Not about your muse, though I'm sure He often gives it sustenance and directon. Best wishes! Love, Mikki

Read this before Joe, but surely my muse was in slumber! I love the title "falling into the sky". This is profound and searching, perhaps to find your muse, who I'd say had never left your side!? "enlightenment", sometimes surpressed, but will patiently await until being recognized. Oh, you have such a profound soul, Joe!! Best wishes, Love, Mikki

I never feel closer to God than when I am on the sea, Joe. Sometimes as you look out at the horizon, the sea and sky seem to meet. This is such an uplifting poem and I needed to read this today. Bless you for sharing it. Love, Carolyn
