Extinct

~ Extinct ~ Under sky's radar just above treetops clouds layered white along lazy trails inch A breeze bestirs herself thinks better of it -- scattered leaves left scattered on still-green lawns The sun, this late October day climbs rungs of warmth, as if to wave Autumn's chill farewell commandeering Summer to stay And we, we who bask in its delight We, we who feed Mother Earth's plight We, we who do not sense darkness in light We, we with our dinosaur grins, are we not

In some ways we sure do seem to be regressing, don't we? Hope it's a mirage and/or that we turn things around. Warm wishes, Gershon

We and dinosaurs in the same category - extinct - wow - who knows, we are moving at such a fast pace that it could be fact not fiction one day. Loved this write Gershon. Hugs, Jennifer

"The sun, this late October day climbs rungs of warmth," this was beautiful; a very tranquil, soothing read.

A fine write Gershon. "We with our dinosaur's grin." I have often said we are progressing ourselves into extinction and taking the rest of the world with us. Love it. God Bless, JB

Whoa. Prophet's going to be hard to live up to. How about if I'm just a 'decent-pointer-outer?' … Thank you so much for your kind words about this little poem, Line. Blessings, Gershon
