Such a solemn and beautiful poem, this is, sweet Andrea! I love how you've knitted the yarns if melancholy here, in such a subtle and picturesque way, as if poignancy is seeping in the veins of nature. I absolutely adore everything about this, especially the opening how you've written "a fall leaf f l o a t s" and those "melancholy notes" sound so lyrical with the effortless flow of your words. Love it, Andrea! Your visuals and rhyme are perfect! So creative, but as summer arrives I'm having a hard time thinking about fall and snow! Oh well. I still love this haiku. Blessings!
