Good Morning Good Morning Good Morning Bill. Hi. The haiku is in perfect form voice and tone. You deliver imagery and yes you deliver hope for spring and warmer weather as we all north south east and west are beyond freezing with respective climates. Were I sit it is 11 with it feeling like 0. Thank you as always for sharing your skilled poetic talent. May you and Sara have a beautiful morning and day. Love Peace and Blessings now and always. Surprising for Texas, 12 degrees with wind chill at -4. Brrrrrrrrr! Thanks for the uplifting comments, Lisa. First day back at it here on Poetry Soup. I'll be posting some poems this week and reading and commenting as usual. Thanks for supporting both Sara and me, and always bringing joy to the site. Love and peace, Bill

My winters are milder than yours although we are neighbors. I can’t imagine being a fish and not being able to jump out of the water like those in your picture are doing. Soup mail for you, Bill.

I love this poem and photograph. I particularly like those fish which are one of my mainstays. There is security in knowing that a melting snowpack can help maintain the environment. Thanks for this haiku.

The only thing missing is the line of bears above the falls snagging their spring breakfast.

those fish are smart...they know exactly when it's warm enough to swim and spawn. I liked thinking about early spring. You know me and winter...I need not say more, :-) hugs eastside writing bear

Me too Tom. Winter is a challenge for me now that I'm older and don't ski anymore. Happy to hear your recovery is proceeding smoothly, my friend. Smiles ~ Blessings Bill
