Don'T Blame the Wind
Don't blame the wind
When the sky was graying
You didn't mind the breeze
For it swirled falling leaves
Creating an arid scene,
As heat kept rising
You didn't notice
The smell in your nostrils
Was ozone whirling,
When sun left horizon
Sky soon darkened
But you kept gazing
As the twilight sparkled,
When air turned stormy
You didn't care
For you liked the thunder
And flash of lightening,
And now it's raining
Pouring relentlessly,
But If you didn't see it coming
Don’t blame the wind.
