Split apart time keeps marching past a broken heart feeling small, can't do it all, in these empty halls footsteps trip through hollow space silenced calls no one here or no one there destiny Thrown out thoughts ahead of me killing pain, life's rearranged, forgetful friends it never ends heartbreak hits when you're never missed dreams have flown, you're on your own tenderness aimless twists, clenching fists the more I miss, eyes gone a mist They say Destiny

Hello Tim, A sad lyric here indeed. Yes, "Destiny" (as well as "Fate") plays a role in all of our lives. No matter what each of us must face, it's important to never ever give up.
