Dark

Some people say the world is dark That evil has left it's mark But God over powers all So that we may never fall Sometimes all I see is darkness No ray of light No happiness People are too busy living in this life And not enjoying the good that they have now Some people live pay check to paycheck And that should never be, But this is how society has become A cycle of never ending Bills, dead end jobs, and struggles No one is willing to help a neighbor out Friends are too eager to stab the next in the back What happened to this world? Don't let the darkness overcome you, Take control of your very soul Let the light in, be inspiration for the next Even on the darkest day Let there be light
