Control of Education

It is the educational institutions That determine what one must know To be successful in human society And the values in the society Education has been used for centuries To propagate the values of the elite By controlling what is taught in our schools They assure they remain the elite, ruling class When the elite, with power and money Gain control of a government And through their sinister ideology Impose their will on the people As in the case of Germany under Hitler Their lust for wealth and power At all costs, will lead to the destruction Of the country and massive tragedy for many

There is so much deception..Double Dealing..Lowering of humanitys aspirations One level 'empowering the youth?' To some Degree laudable..Yet is that just a reason to Get green minds? Within the grasp of malicious Power freaks with wild designs, and no Moderation or even a nod to realisam ' ruling Those they purportedly led to freedom? Well written Bill.'

An outstanding poem full of important content, my good friend Bill. I have taken note of your caution. I pray that this powerful nation will never be led by another dictator like Hitler. However, there is a concern that they have already done so behind the scenes and that we are unaware of this.

a great analysis in my opinion and reflects so much of what i run into in so many disputations i butt heads in....the problem is that they are indoctrinated not educated so the depth of disagreement shows they have a lack of history, economics, reasoning, and logic....they have the narrative and nothing else...

When education stoops to catering to vested interests, its true purpose is deflated and destroyed making the nation go to the dogs ! Educational institutions should be free from the clutches of the so called elite and power mongers ! Very insightful observations, dear Bill.

Excellent poem, Bill. How the left have managed to get away with infiltrating the education system beggers belief. History is being destroyed, and they are getting away with it. As for power and wealth, Europe puts all of their eggs into a Russia basket regarding energy, manufacturing all over the world, closed down and go off-shore to china, all with a promise, which made the perpetrators, million/billionaires. Now we have Russia holding europe to ransoms, and China, well that's another story.

What you are talking about is absolutely gross! I am sure none of powers at be who wish to control aspects of our children's education would never compare themself or their political agenda to Hitler. That said many parents are livid over some of the stuff teachers try to get away with teaching in the classroom.

Tony Benn, the late English Labour politician once laid out 5 questions that should always be asked to those in power no matter what political leaning they are What power have you got?” “Where did you get it from?” “In whose interests do you use it?” “To whom are you accountable?” “How do we get rid of you?” Cheers - Gary

With a move toward private schools, religious schools, and home schooling, the public schools K - 12 -- hopefully! -- will die a natural death. As for colleges/universities, they are already so ridiculously overpriced, that their bubble will soon burst too, I think. Kudos, Bill.

I watch documentaries on Hitler and his insane fooling the German people. They fooled the adults with propoganda. Yes~ they bought their craziness! They were masters at the art of racism and used Jews as targets, the children learned to hate in schools.we are appiaching that quickly in the USA,The fake news, Twitter, Facebook, hide truth and carry the narrative of the elites.people don’t see the tragedy ahead? It was terrible when it happened in Germany and I can see the possibility that here in the U.S., we could be heading down the same path. This poem was about how I came to answer my own question, "How can this be happening?" The poem is how I see people allowing themselves to be enslaved by others. In my humble opinion, this could be happening right now in the U.S. and other places throughout our world. Thanks for the comment, Panagiota. Hugs, Bill
