when I was a girl unaware of life and death father took me to the park to feed the ducks . . . how, sweetly they floated to me as father watched from a park bench the ducks knew us and came without hesitation how nice it would be to go back to those days to be again under those swaying trees where pretty ducks drifted just me and father and our favorite park bench . . . Chidhood memories are so sweet ! Now many a time I drift back to those beautiful memories. When I think that those good old days and faces we loved so much will not come back, I feel an inexplicable pain. As one grows older, the wish to fly back to the times gone, becomes even more intense. Enjoyed reading your poem and also the beautiful picture, dear Constance!
