Caterpillar: Us and God
I
In a way, He cannot enjoy the physical world
Fallen Eden or Fallen Earth, though he gave them birth
So he grows eyes where caterpillars have legs
But this is the most gorgeous, gigantic 'pillar
Billions and billions of eyes like galaxies
Encompassing all the senses and human skin
To feel what men and women feel, to experience
After all, He is the All in All, One in All
Humans, on the other hand, have one eye's view
That unique (Personal) perspective, seeing Other
Eyes, but not the entire body, the future butterfly
II
O Eye of God, enjoy this human experience
Don't take it so personally - you are vital, but many
Together He experiences us and Himself, Creation ...
Without having to always take birth as Jesus
So, we are not much more than our perspectives
Our wisdom is all what we experienced, recall -
But unless we keep the eye healthy we may never see
That All-Beauty-Defying, Ever Flying, Butterfly
