Becoming a Loving Person

When we see others hurting, And our hearts don’t even cry. We look inside for the answers, As our souls cry out why oh why? The path we’re given here on Earth, Will have ways we each may learn. In starting the learning process, Most begin to feel their concern. We’ll each evolve with each lesson, Our behavior will soon transform. We’ll realize right choices we make, Will seldom cause anyone harm. We’ll begin to observe others, Our hearts will perceive their needs. By helping others where they’re at, We’ll know when to plant our seeds. Follow Love’s spirit, found within, And always do your very best. Rest assured you’re never alone, Your efforts will always be blessed. Becoming a loving person, You’ll want to show what you believe. You’ll teach the lessons you have learned, It’s better to give than receive.

Thank you for the comments, Daniel. Things are getting better health wise, but landscaping and lawn care are eating away at my time again. Once I get all the new trees and flowers planted I should be more active. Thanks for asking. I hope all is well with you. Have a great week! Bill

A thoughtful loving poem Bill. These days the emphasis is on every man for himself. I think we are to blame somewhat, we tend to treat our kids like Lords and ladies doing everything for them giving them everything they want. I am not saying kids these days are bad, but I do think that some compassion for their fellow man (except for their besties and BFF's ) has been lost. Sorry just sayin your poem is beautiful and true, Best wishes

Yes, when we finally see for ourselves the light through the tunnel then we are ready to love, pray and tell others.

Summarized from Bible ... that which you have seen and hearld, tell to others that are able to pass it own. Following the guide of the Holy Spirit is the key. When the time is right their spirit is ready. Talking people into beliving what I do is just being a good salesman, but when the spirit is in control we get miracles. OOPs, preaching mode. :-) Thanks for the mindful comment, Kim. Smiles ~ Blessings Bill

truly profound and deep. A loving person doesn't just happen; it takes a willingness to think and perceive others. It takes practice too and putting oneself aside. Well said, my soulmate! Good to see your writing...it's inspirational. your loving wife. PS I've seen you becoming more and more of a loving person over time. Hats off to you.

Nice one Bill..I apptrciate loving people. But I like people to be genuine, even more so. Hard to find.like needles in a haystack. Friends who are not friends, just take but cannot love. Example speedway comments, I am not dumb nor a speed bump. That’s a sure sign they want to be number one on the comments board. I won’t read them in that case. Pangit Pangir To know someone totally unafraid to express what they love, as well as those things in like, is so uplifting.

Bill. As you know California is a gigantic tape.. so what do you hear about whether may be in one part of California and not here. It’s been 80° here and dry as a bone but we had a lot of rain last week. Nothing damaging.. Pangie

Dear Bill, your tender verse is full of soulful wisdom. To "evolve with each lesson" learned is indeed the key to "becoming a loving person". Such eloquent and inspiring reflection draws from a life well-lived. I feel you put into practice what you poetically preach. Simply splendid in every way! Warmest wishes, my kind-hearted friend.. ~Susan

You're right about Bill, Susan. My hubby does put into practice the many life lessons he's learned from a life with many challenges and a life well life. You're astute. Thanks for the kind things you said about my dear hubby. They mean a great deal to him.
