I find my peace in faith and prayer
for the Lord wraps me in his loving wings
he is my warrior, my rock, anchor and strength
my truth, shelter and my enduring peace
With meditation I can let go of these earthly bonds
thankful for this life and all I treasure
closing my eyes I drift and float in peace
never knowing where my soul will journey
Each new morn' is an opportunity to find peace
so, I kneel to the Lord for strength and courage
for serenity and tranquility for the day ahead
often, I can feel a stroke upon my hair
When I have struggles the Lord holds my hand
he knows my forever grief and weeps also
I am lifted up high with his strong arms
and his whispers- you can do this for I am here
So, I will ever speak his name loudly
singing for him heavenly praises each new day
never denying my faith, respect and love
and when my earthly life ends ...
I will enter those golden gates peacefully
