Bay-Watch Christmas Eve

In the fog, Rudolph led Santa’s sleigh, but his Covid mask got in the way. The red glow of his nose was concealed. Oh, what woes when he landed them all in a bay. Dec. 7, 2020 for Carolyn Devonshire's Santa's Covid Christmas Poetry Contest

Rudolph could have got a dispensation not to wear the mask over his nose lol! He needed a "headlight" to see where he was going:) Congratulations on your high placement, Andrea! // paul

This is an excellent limerick poem, my sister of God's grace, Andrea. I love the flow of the words and the impact of the message. The descriptive excellence is lovely. The theme great, and tenor move the piece along with much grace. Great job! https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/53812816-sincerely-speaking-spiritually.

Well said, as it is a challenge for us old folk to descend the stairs wearing a face mask! But you have certainly sunk holiday expectations! Aloha! Rico

I heard that Mrs Claus has got Santa a snorkel for Christmas this year. Pity he didn’t get it early. Fun Limerick Andrea.

Nobody can see Rudolph's shiny nose if he has to wear a mask. Good humorous write!
