Arise, Awake

Early light penetrates the shroud of mist Awakening the drowsy Earth from sleep Birds are heard trilling their sweet songs Amid the soft tunes, stands out The house wren’s loud soprano These sounds fill my heart with a thousand tunes Trees in majesty sweep heaven with their crowns A gentle wind passes tousling my hair Embrace this dewy morn in its fresh glory. Reads like a great new day with a very good start. The sun on the horizon this morning was red which the old saying goes red sunrise in the morning sailors take warning. So, we will see what the day holds besides cooler air. Thanks for your visit to my page. Sara

Nothing beats the start of a new day Valsa, been up hours even beating the dawn chorus. Worked for the post office for 40 years so my body clock is out of sync. Tom
