Arise, Awake
Early light penetrates the shroud of mist
Awakening the drowsy Earth from sleep
Birds are heard trilling their sweet songs
Amid the soft tunes, stands out
The house wren’s loud soprano
These sounds fill my heart with a thousand tunes
Trees in majesty sweep heaven with their crowns
A gentle wind passes tousling my hair
Embrace this dewy morn in its fresh glory.
As the sun shines and spreads his radiant glow,
Buckle up and make a perfect start.
Every new day is a gift from God!
