And When Those Feet Kiss the Grass

They swayed in ecstasy With the young wild wind, They cried in tears of dew drops of joy. Their roots moaning To be buried deeper into the land of love, Their love still seeking to be selfless Having been trampled over a million times. In those billion kisses between my bare feet And the zillion lips of grinning grass, The dusk rose to a romantic night. A blushing sky overlooking two lovers, Immersed in a love ever not so blind.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
