a charming and delightful poem, chris! am i wrong in thinking this was written to all of us at the soup? it trickily sounds like a romantic poem, but the ending was a sweet surprise. even if i'm wrong, it's still a great piece of writing...

Well Ilene, let's just say it is to whoever wants it to be for them. The truth, I post a good morning poem here most everyday and though normally they are love poems and inspired by a certain someone, they are also my good morning greetings to everyone on soup, so in essence...yes. :) Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment.
