Alone

Even though I’ve chosen to be alone for a while and am just for now, My heart knows where I am in this time that carries me forward Things can be displaced, and yet I continue to feel a stillness That relieves me day to day, with an appreciation for what has evolved An eagerness to see what’s ahead, grabbing each day along my way Hanging onto wishes, dreams and things I know dearly and with certainty As if I leapt, fell far downward and then landed, finding myself yet again Life is full of mystery, adventure, creativity and in all this I am free Many things that bring a grand finale, as if fireworks are rising from within Sparking to show something to share, to fill the darkness with colors - I Celebrate - Heidi Sands 10/14/19
