Allura and Her Sentinel

One is inhibited when to grasp for her without care without pity, a stark reminder for those with intent for behold a portrait of nature when to gaze upon the blushing Rose at home amongst her guardian thorns a rural delight nurtured in the city in grounds of remembrance for there she sparkles, as she fabricates the scented air basks in the sunrise shimmers in dawn’s breaking dew. © Harry J Horsman 2021

shalom shalom dear Friend: I don't pretend to GRASP all the references, but I like the ideas that came: city rose and country rose, forced and "unnatural" versus simple and spontaneous. LORD knew why He gave us thorns and thistles. Anil

Lovely metaphorical write Harry with imaginative imagery that sets this scene with perfection - the adaptable rose! Congratulations for your win. Sending you the fragrant blessings of the rose without "her guardian thorns." Wonderful phrase. Take care.
