Acrostic For Spring Flowers
ACROSTIC FOR SPRING FLOWERS
( DAFFODILS )
Don’t give another thought to old winter’s cold.
April has arrived and the sun is in his heavenly arena,
Filling all the buds with the growing strength of
Flowers that are just begging to be the centre of
Ornamental displays in parks somewhere, and are also
Delighted to become a pick-me-up for those tired
Ice-weary people too winter-exhausted to say, “ I
Like your bonnet” or “How sweet it is” just to fill
Someone’s day with pleasant springtime wishes .
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
NOTE:
The word ‘daffodils’ is formed from the
first letter of each line, and ALSO by the last letter of each line.
