Halloween, Oh Halloween

Halloween, oh Halloween. This day of fright is not serene. The ruling number is thirteen, while ghouls and bats are seen as keen! Halloween, oh, Halloween - a day for pranks. Don’t be too mean! No soap on my computer screen, but I can deal with vaseline! Halloween, oh, Halloween - this Eve, the dead are “in-between” - Some evil spirits might be seen. Call Ghost Busters to intervene! Halloween, oh Halloween. A spooky meal is the cuisine Use grapes for eyeballs; for the spleen something slitheringly obscene! Halloween, oh halloween, when orange hue wins over green. But favored over tangerine is pumpkin Jack-O-lantern’s sheen. Halloween, oh Halloween. A skeleton’s my figurine! And trick-or-treaters on the scene is how we end this day’s routine. Once upon a midnight dewy...hmm, that won't work. Once upon a midnight fuey...hmm, don't think that will fly. Once upon a midnight dreary...hmm -- now that has potential! Love it Andrea. Have a safe and wonderful Halloween! Blessings.

Hmm. No kidding. Not knowing anything, I would guess that vaseline would be worse for the computer screen than soap. Shows to go you ~ Slightly dyslexic at times, gw

Loved it Andrea. Especially the part about the pumpkin. My poem about "Greedy Jack" tells how we came about using Jack 'O' Lanterns. It's an Irish Legend I put into poem form. Good Stuff here. God Bless and good luck in the contest. JB
