We were wrinkling our noses as a bunny
The pastor uses an apostrophe
Eternal echo in holy house
His religious beliefs,
lined with grace
With arms and feet nailed to the cross
The torture of whipping
- pain and bloody sweat
The crown of thorns
Shadows fall
into the moment's blind spot
We are not stupid or deaf
at times the doubt is deafening
as the world changed
Easter morning:
a holy sign, the tomb was empty
The age of miracles
We wrinkled our noses as a bunny
Is there a deeper meaning woven into it?
A reminder of a heavenly scent
a convincing God
a moment of revelation
glimpse of eternal hope
The sky whispers in shades
enlivens the senses
The extendable crooked long ears
listening to the Easter message
When there is doubt,
there must be faith
