yes life is short and filled with comedy and sadness...and yet we fight among ourselves as if our lives are eternal...not the short comedy your poem speaks of...good luck in the contest

Maybe not at the time, but after the fact, if we look back, like is a comedy, It is short and it sure does have its ups and downs. An observant insight Anne Lise and a lovely quote. Truth and honesty is paramount. I read recently that the dishonest man, you know he will be untruthful. Its the honest man you have to watch ! An excellent poem for the contest BOL.
