When I was a child, nothing was worse to my dear Mum, than putting up an umbrella inside the house or turning the calendar to the next month too early, than hanging a horseshoe upside down for the luck to fall out !!! Your well presented poem just reminded me of all this dear Anne-Lise. Thank you.

Love the imagery , shape, and feel of this verse. I have one hanging in my garage , of course upside down. If the legend is true, I don't know.. Have had a lot of bad luck.
