Contest Description
What to Submit? I grew up in church and as you might expect some Bible verses were memory verses. One verse in particular was recited at my church so very often, and that was Psalm 19:14. For those of you who are unfamilar it goes like this:
"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, Oh LORD, my strength and my Redemeer." NKJV.
Rules, to follow if you want to be considered for placement. Read carefully:
- Any title: The verse hopefully inspires you.
- 16 lines or less.
- Limericks are okay as are sonnets, free verse, and any style you want BUT NOT PROSE.
- Premire contest so I only have room to choose 10 winners.
- I must understand your poem in order for it to place.
- Past poems are welcome if they fit the rules.
- If you are not Christian or did not grow up in church but you feel inspired by this verse then enter anyways.
