Prayer For Composing a New Day

Good morning, Lord... another day...
a clear, new page before me
to scribble and doodle on, to fill as I wish
while I think, pray, work, play, decide, act...
but, most of all...while I love.
By night I'll have it filled for sure.

Just one thing, Lord.
I hope among the scattered scribbles,
the dilly-dally doodles...
something amazing and creative will emerge
that reflects your love and glory...

something special you'll be proud of, Lord,
that you'll accept and enter in that great, big
book of yours...
"The Anthology of Services...
To God and Humankind."
