Contest Description
You are invited to write a NEW poem about LAKES or STREAMS. I must notice your poem has been achieved in a intense way... For an example of the strong intensity I am looking for, but on a different natural form, see my poem called "A Billion Ponds" here on Poetry Soup, dated 3/17/2019.
IMPORTANT RULE -
Put
A) the date,
B) the title of this contest,
C) Sponsor - Julia Ward
beneath your striking poem.
Give your work a noteworthy title... "A Billion Ponds" made people look. :) How I got inspiration for THAT was from my reading a typo for a billion pounds (sterling).
