What to Submit?
1 original haiku on the theme of water; with a kigo suggesting the season: kigo list No capitals, proper nouns the only exception. No punctuation, ellipses are permitted. Syllable count 5, 7, 5, or less. Example:
water... much needed
err you'll not hear the frog splash

Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts.
English Language:
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
A Note to Poetry Contestants:
This is the first time I have judged a poetry contest, but please be aware I am a stickler rules. Other anomalies too, like ings' don't rhyme as in; tending - morning do not, whereas tending - lending is fine. Have fun... Mick
