Thank you very much Sara, love those Japanese gardens. Our next door neighbour used to have koi carp, they were huge. Tom

Thank you Mick, until I joined this site I'd never heard of hakiu but reading and watching on here is teaching me so much. When I saw some of the other gems on here I thought I'm glad I'm not the judge.I think they're all amazing how they conjure a picture in your mind.

Thank you S.O., I'm always a bit wary whether or not I've managed to project the image in three lines. Thankfully you saw it too

Of course I'm going to love this excellent Haiku of yours Tom. I love everything Japanese, I consider it my second home and go there often both for business and fun. Have you ever been?....Maria

Thank you Maria, sadly I have not but it looks an amazing place, and the gardens and blossom are out of this world, you're so lucky to go there on business and get paid for doing so wow. Tom

Thanks Jan, me too ,such beauty and colour.Saw a garden programme where a couple made a small Japanese garden with statues, bridges and water, there's something about them.A place you could just sit and drift away and get inspired. Tom
