Ya see, when I was a YOUNGSTAR (youngster). I honestly wanted
To be SUPERMAN! Seriously, I didn't pay much attention to difference in skin color and
after all he was SUPERMAN. WOW, he was two People! Clark Kent and SUPER MAN I wanted to be an imposter too (one was impersonating the other). After. I grew older, I was shocked by the reality of this dirt filled world. Yes, mud Pies Were real dirt Val. Then I shouldn't have to eat a little bit to PROVE THAT FACT TO MYSELF.
I was suddenly the young adult (and had to deal with young adulthood) Which is what I saught
To avoid. I learned in my teen age years that I had developed a talent for writing. Eventually, I pursued poetry writing. My family was
Mostly polite when it came to their critiques. "That's nice Val", I think the
Truth is they didn't care for poetry at all. Years passed and here I am, saying that
I'm just a bit disappointed that my relationship with POETRY is slightly lopsided. I
have gained some insight concerning poetry. But still my poems have not landed on any
editor's desk resulting from my lack of effort and my unwillingness to place my valuable property in the hands of a very proficient " POETRY PIRATE". I would soon recognise my work with someone else's SIGNATURE. I'm choosing NOT TO RELY ON ANYONE'S HONESTY. I have saturated Parts of the internet with my poems. I look forward to taking it to other spaces of these PLACES.
