I love these kinds of geometric designs. The colors are so bold and bright. This is beautiful, Chan!...Do you remember those "Magic Eye" books from the 90's? You would stare at these designs and a 3-D image would pop out at you. Most people could not see the images, but it always worked for me. :)

LOL! I so remember those, Kelly. If I tried hard enough, I could see them, also. Thanks for taking a look and for the kind comments <3

Cool stars. Looks like a shirt, or book cover, or CD cover (does anyone else still keep their music on CDs?).

lol I keep mine on burned CD's. I only have a few left I saved for posterity, even though they are hopelessly warped and scratched. Thanks for looking, Scott :)

I have all my cds from way back when in a huge plastic tub. I think one day they may be collectible, like vinyl is now :). Anyway, I love my cds...especially the old cover art and fold outs :)

When I played football Chan, I saw twinklin' stars frequently during games! This is much better! As I watch your art, with much movement, from my easy-chair! Jimbo

This has a 3-D Escher-like quality. As you stare at it, parts seem to stick out and then a little shift in your focus changes everything. Very Mellow Yellow, that's right...

Thanks, Roy. I don't like for my pieces to be flat; I always aim for depth and illusion. I appreciate you having a look and for the thoughtful reply :)

Thanks, Charm. Yes, I would say I was in a jovial mood when I made this. It's not dark or brooding but actually celebratory. Thanks for the look and reply :)

I don't know much about art. I just know that I like bright colors that are not too surreal. So ME LIKES.

ROFLMAO... I came in earlier and saw your gorgeous work but was called away by the phone, then I thought, I'll have to go back tonight, after dinner... and sure enough, you changed your blog title. HA! Get 'em spiderman, sling that web! ;-) Okay, so yes I DO SEE THE STAINED GLASS but I also see... don't shoot me... the Beatles in the Yellow Submarine. I have no idea why, but instead of Lucy in the Sky, some inner voice is saying to me to say to you, Eleanor Rigby? I've been told I have a touch of the "gift." You're much younger than me, and you were into heavy metal stuff, yes? Does the song Eleanor Rigby have a special significance to you? Huh! Sometimes, I just go with the intuition!

You know what they say about flies and honey, Miss Who lol. I'm not familiar with the Rigby song nor do I know much about the Beatles, I'm afraid. Weird, geometric art is just what I do best. Thanks for the thoughtful reply ;)

I see a tent opened to the night sky and since seeing the tent I can't see anything else but a few stars above the horizon

This is so brilliant!!! I would love to have this printed on silk and framed on my wall. Reminds me of your 9/8/2009 quote describing the feeling one gets when listening to the Tibetan Benedictine Monks: "stare at stain glass with Jesus..." - " bathed in holy light"... :)

Glad you have these quotes because my sieve-like brain certainly doesn't remember. I have a list of quotes you gave me years ago. Remember when my sister said, "I've kicked in more doors than the LAPD"? LOL! Thanks, S.V.
