?I want to say right up front that I don't celebrate Christmas, and while I respect the rights of all of you to do so, I only ask two things if you wish to comment here...1. No mention of Christmas (it IS my blog-lol) and 2. NO NEGATIVE comments about anything or anyone.

I will begin by saying that I've written for years, but until now I've never shared them publically. Many of you have become special to me, and I want to thank you for being kind and generous with your comments. I love the humor that flows so easily from the pens of some of you, the romanticism that draws me in, and those with a more serious side, I applaud you for writing with depth of emotion.

I have found you to be of sound mind, gentle disposition, high intellect and an inspirational and quite talented poet. So I have to ask this . So why are you hanging with we crazy poets ? A joke my friends! We all know that we are not normal if we write our hearts out to complete strangers! Merry Christmas to one and all!

Today, my friend's husband passed away after a battle with lung cancer. He did not smoke, was an avid cyclist, ate healthier than most, did not work around chemicals nor was he a firefighter. From discovering the cancer until today, less than five months. It is impossible to understand, to take in. I am grateful for my family and my darling daughter... I am grateful for life, itself, and the beauty it offers, regardless of its length. Good blog. Wishing you joy, however, whenever and wherever you find it. Cyndi

Just the name of Arthur Vaso or Jan Allison should make you smile besides all the other smart funny people on this website. I can not forget about Broken Wing she too has brought me close to thoughts I needed to remember of those that were truely close to my heart and I have lost. Broken Wing you have a special place of love in my heart.
