A House in New Orleans Contest

My thanks and congratulations to those who entered this contest. .I was only able to place nine winners...only 13 entered and 4 of those were not in Haibun form. The focus was to be on the house and alley. It seems creating a poem using photographs and the imagination was a titch too difficult.

My apologies for not posting the results earlier, but my sister needed emergency surgery and I've only been back home for a little while. All is well.

Lin, best wishes to your sister, the same issue runs in my family. Thanks for hosting a great contest. I'm surprised you didn't have a better response. I actually wrote and posted two but the first one kept getting farther away from the requirements so I wrote the second one. Can't wait to read them all. Happy you liked mine.

She called me around midnight..2 nights ago and said she was in ER.. gall bladder had to be removed. She's recovering...thanks, Laura.
