Hello Soupers ok here is my new challenge, lots of rules to adhere to ( I will be strict)
I would like you to write a poem 13 lines no more or less, with a two word title, your choice, but, and here is the big but, the first word of your poem must start with a consonant, next word starts with a vowel and so-on for consecutive words, consonant then vowel consonant then vowel, the same applies to your title first word consonant second one vowel.. your poem can be unmetered but I will not accept any poems with less than 6 words on a line, as your poem is going to start with a consonant I want it to end in a vowel. You can check out my example ' Ghostly Apparitions' .
I will be very strict, if there is one consonant / vowel out of order I will not be notifying anyone. Quite a few of you signed up for the challenge, well here is your chance to shine.
Your poem must flow so as the sequence is really undetectable. Choose a theme that is going to wow me, you can use humour but try and keep it to a minimum.
Any questions soup or ask here. Have Fun...

David I don't think you answered Debra's question. What I hear you saying is EVERY line must start with a CONSANANT. ..BUT It is possible to go [con/vow/con/vow/con] that's 5 words..which is OK BUT the next line must still start with a CON..is this correct? Please check that mine is OK for you?

I thought I had it, then I entered it, then I read your rules, then I thought I DIDN'T DO IT RIGHT, then I removed it, then I checked your own example (again :) ) and then I thought HUH? I DID IT RIGHT? then I came back here. LOL. Okay... So... the first word of the first line MUST be a consonant (check) and the last word of the first line MUST start with a vowel? I wrote it alternating which left the last word on the last line as a consonent? AWK! Your example (which I loved!) goes back and forth (I think, I'm so tired that I'm fair loopy-- tell me my youngster will eventually sleep through the night! Waaaaaaaaaaaa) Anyways, left a message on your example as well. This near sapped me. LOL!

Dear Lord Man, LOL, my jaw is somewhere below my desk and I'm thinking that you were a schoolmarm in another life... hee hee. Not sure whether to give you two thumbs up or to chase you around your front parlour with a watergun filled with vinegar! LOL!!! Are you sure you wouldn't like us to do this while patting our heads and rubbing our tummies? Well, enough of joshing with ya! Methinks I MUST give this a go. Cause I like banging my head on my desk while I write. Makes me a better person. ;-) Hugs to you and the Mrs. --- From a bemused, soon to be confused, Cyndi
