Facebook Nightmare

I have finally been dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century.

I have been persuaded to join Facebook, so I have ticked the box to 'request a friend' and
I have ticked a lot of you here (sorry)... so if you get a request and you think to yourselves 'who the hell is this' well now you know. I won't be offended if any of you refuse me (who am I kidding yes I will ) no seriously I won't, and if I have missed anyone and you would like to be 'my friend' please let me know what I, or you, need to do.

As I am a Facebook virgin please be patient with me if I have to reply to anything as I am not technology minded, and more importantly if anyone can give me any tips to make things easy or any shortcuts I would be very grateful...

Can you post poems on it? Happy Facebooking girls and boys....

Love my facebook...great way to keep up with family and friends you see rarely and meet new people. I post regularly my poems on my page and poetry pages. Enjoy the ride..it has many ups and downs...lol Not anything like this Lovely Soup though !!!

Its more of an addiction Dan a nightmare I do remember sitting for hours in front of my computer screen blogging, chatting , updating.. Now it all seems crap! Well let's see how long can mr zuckerberg keep with it! But its still the best sns no doubt (Yet )

FB can be great or it can be a pain all depends how you use it...I love it for updating me on old friends and family who live far away...But I sure don't divuldge every little thing like some people do..that's just ridiculous...I belong to a couple groups on there like a canning and preserving group which I like and I do learn things!Hope you enjoy it David...

I don't care for it very much, but it's kinda nice to know I have some photo albums over there my nephew helped me put up and once in a blue moon I read people's many posts. I do a Friday movie review, David. that's basically all I post over there. hope you enjoy it.

it can be habit forming David, but its nice to long on and get updated on what friends and family are up to, I hope you enjoy it. Whenever someone prints some strange thing about missing people, saving people, warnings of viruses going around, before you hit the share button, go to snopes.com and see if its fact or fiction, people tend to hit the share button before checking anything out

No tips here..every time anyone begins to understand how to use ALL the POO on facebook they change the format! My peru picture are there David go look!

I really think Satan invented Facebook. This has to be the biggest distraction in a person's life. If I didn't have children or grandchildren I would not have an account.

In addition to what Suzette said about posting poems, you can upload a word document direct to a group, by clicking on the add file button. That way all your formatting stays as intended, but for your friends to read it that have to 1) be a member of the group and 2) click on the link. BTW, have you seen my poem The Facebook Hook? Just a little warning about how addictive FB can be!
