My Biography is Coming Soon... When I was 13 years old I began my conquest Of poetry. I put my hobby on hiatus after Determining that my efforts were fruitless. After ten years I returned to writing. This Episode i was much improved. I wasn't Able to keep track of any of my early work Due to a number of relocations. Now I am an Active member of poetrysoup where I have Published about 400+ poems including: HAPPINESS OF LIFE ON THE PATH OF PASSION TWILIGHT LIFE SHOOTING STAR DREAMER WHEN DREAMERS DREAM OF TRIUMPHS That's a micro collection.

Each time i set out to write a poem to my Dismay and utter dispare it often times Turns to writer's block affairs. I feel in Troublesome dilapidated disfunction. How could this be. I think thoughts of just giving Up all together. My heart wanders in loneliness And useless poetics. This is pure tragedy. I think I will just take a short break and collect myself. What else can be done. Not enough words in My pen.

Hello Man, I saw your comment on David Fishers page, my full support and best wishes Val, in regards of poetry, ( don't force yourself) I see Constance has good advice, i add why Not write on somthing that you find funny.? Or An enjoyable time you have had, it can be short Verse, as Constance puts, all the best.'

Val, writers block happens to all poets and writers from time to time. Yes, you could step back and rest your mind. Or you could use images as inspiration, write short poems, I use Acrostic for this purpose, write about what you see in the image, you will notice that it will spark your pen and in time you will want to write more, best of luck, blessings Constance

Hello Val, I agree with Deb it is not good. Writer's block happens to all of us. Val take a break. come back refreshed. By then you will have good ideas for poetry. Take care. /Darlene/
