This is so true and happens on a daily basis. She should have called the husband herself and she deserves the embarassment. I did find it funny though because it was not what I was expecting.

I agree with the others.. and it happens every day.. people jumping to conclusions.. without finding out first the facts... but thats life.. we must trust the people in our lifes.. or not have them there..

PS the child was dyslexic and had transposed two of the numbers. The son saw the Mother's abuse of her husband and never married fearing not to be able to live up to a womans expectations. Therefore, the couple had no grandchildren and the line ended. Light & Love Debbie

That story has a wonderful message...don't jump to any conclusions, and don't think the worst of someone, until you know the facts. Have to admit...I laughed at Vince's comment, however :) !!! Great blog, Margaret! ~ Sincerely,Carrie

#1-- That was quick thinking by the other woman on the end of the line. Sorry Meg, I had to get that one in there. My wife knows about my other love (the ocean), but it's difficult to argue with something that big. Best bet is to have a trusting heart. God Bless. Vince

My daughter at the age of 6 once said, you can never judge a cupcake by its icing. I believe that. We cannot judge, else it could be inaccurate and harsh, without knowing the facts. Always question first and rely on first hand info, never second hand. Thank you for this story as it acts as a reminder to us all to be better thinking people. Michael
