Kids say the Darndest Things.

I picked up my 7 year old grandson, Caelan, from school one day.

On the ride home he says to me

"Nana may I have some candy?"

"Sorry I don't have any today, "I replied.

"Then can we stop and buy some?" he persists.

"Sorry," I reply again "but I didn't bring my hanbag along."

Caelan ponders over this dilemma then as cute as a button announces

"You know Nana, grandmothers should always have nice things for their grandchildren."

Lesson well taken!!!

Kids do say the darnest things can still remeber my nephew when he was only 4 he fell going up the steps and said to my mom I bok my leg me and my mom just LOL their little expressions are also so darn cute great blog and congrats on finals Iam not going to enter them anymore

Buon giorno, my margaret. aww, so cute, yes, kids are so honest, love that. i'm not a grandmother...yet, but my mom says it's a different type of love, but so very intense. great blog entry, my dear friend. love, tami. ps. congrats on your award, so exciting. Ciao!
