    Ouch!! Catie!!!!!!!! No, this is not from "my" Catie! Im going through all the psychological coping mechanisms at the same time: grief, denial, anger, depression ... : D !! I think that if you change the "soup" metaphor ... maybe ... LOL! Yes, you're in the finals ... just because being published increases ... intensifies the effectiveness of this "entry" ... I still love your poetry. : )

    Okay, I'm laughing, really laughing. If anyone else but you had said they had written this, I'd have smacked them upside the head and said, stop telling lies. LOL. the soup line? Had me tearing up. But, I did like the line, cobwebbed cake... or the idea of it? Almost tickles a poesy outa me... something gothic, something "something wicked this way comes" ;) This won't make it to the podium of schlop, but it will make an honourable mention, in my books. Proof that writing improves--- I'm still gobsmacked. LOL! LOVE YA
