Hey Soupers,

You may have noticed new ads on certain pages. We are testing some new advertising options on PoetrySoup. We are testing these ad options on the following pages ONLY: blogs, articles, and dictionary. You will not see the ads anywhere else on PoetrySoup. You will not see them on poetry pages. Please bear with us as we test these new options.

Can I just ask will you be bringing back all the features that were on the left hand side of the page... I notice poem of the week/day has disappeared (although POTD is at the top of the page) and I also used to use poems by country on a very regular basis. I do like the random poems feature:-) hugs jan xx

Pop ups are a no no PS (an uninvited irritating distraction that inhibits the reader and therefore would be counter productive.I have always admired they way your existing ads to the top and side fit the ethos of the site.Don't spoilt it please.

I'm a free user so understand the need for ads. For my 2 cents, banner ads are fine. Side wall ads are fine. Just never use anything that you have to click on to close or ads that follow you down the screen. They are an instant turn off.

TPS, understand you needing ads to fund the site but having pop up ads every few seconds when one is reading blogs is annoying, and to me not producing a very nice experience for your members, just my opinion of course
