Cyndi MacMillan's first mystery will be published by Crooked Lane Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House, Spring 2023. The book (working title, 'Dirty Little Secret) could be described as 'Jane Erye meets The Da Vinci Code.' It is a genre-blending gothic suspense, and the main character is an art conservator hired to solve a cold case.

Her short fiction has appeared in local newspapers and has won contests. She enjoys reading literary journals, and she will continue to occasionally submit work to poetry magazines. But right now, her attention is focused on her next novel.
