10 Poems, 10 Places

At 6pm central time today I will post a contest in which I will allow the first 10 poems for judging. This contest will have 10 places, no honorable mention. Any poems submitted with a name will be disqualified. Any form and any theme is accepted. There is no restriction on length. I am looking for the very best of the very best. The contest will clost at 10 submissions. I will judge and post within 24hrs if possible. Best wishes and good luck. Mac

Hi, Mac...thanks for sponsoring another wonderful contest. I would have loved to have entered it, but like other poets, I missed the deadline! Mac I just have to tell u the excitement u presented for this challenging short contest featured on Soup sponsored by u... this makes the creative juices flow even brighter when u have to watch the clock and prepare to hit the "enter contest" button... Thanks Mac, for the heads up. Some of these contests come and go so fast that we havenn't time to post our best. It seems you and I have similar ideas as to what constitutes good poetry. I have only been writing since I lost my son in 1999, ten years. Thanks again. Joyce
